2nd Bedroom - sleeps 3 adults or 4 kids in twin over full bunk with twin trundle, ensuite bathroom with tub/shower

Lower level:
Sleeps 2 in full sofa bed

School’s Out is located at the far end of the Trailside Cabin neighborhood, across the street from the Vineyard Pool, large hot tub and splash pad. An end lot, this property boasts its own large yard complete with outdoor dining, a firepit, and a private hot tub with a view of the lake. This is a unique property in having just one neighbor and tons of privacy. The Hilltop Pool, playground, and pickleball courts are a short walk up the hill, and the brand-new Chelan Community Center is a two-minute walk down the road.

School’s Out offers two parking spaces along a quiet alley road and is located directly on a brand-new bike trail. Enjoy the home’s two adult bikes, complimentary for guests, or take a 5-minute walk to Vin du Lac winery, just down the road. This family-friendly home
is the perfect size and in a great location for single-family vacation needs at the Lookout Resort, whenever “School’s Out!”

Inside the Trailside Cabin, the main floor is open-concept with a pocket office near the entry, designed for “working from home” at your home away from home. The kitchen space is designed with efficiency in mind, complete with a washer/dryer, a walk-in pantry for
extra storage (plus a travel highchair), and a Weber barbecue grill on the deck just outside the kitchen area. The living room features a gas fireplace, swiveling 65” LED Smart TV, and 9’ sliding glass door to create an indoor-outdoor living space during the
warmer months. Kids can enjoy board games and pool, beach & snow toys, on hand for their entertainment.

The outdoor entertaining space includes upper and lower decks, both featuring patio heaters to keep you cozy, the lower deck wrapping around to the side patio for full-access dining and leisure. Enjoy a cocktail on the Adirondack chairs on the lower deck or around the firepit, overlooking the valley and peekaboo view of the lake. Partake in a meal outside at the dining table that seats 6 comfortably. Take in the views of the lake and the Stormy Mountain hills as you grill or relax on the patio or while taking a dip in the hot tub.

Upstairs, kids will be thrilled with the Bunk Room, complete with a twin-over-full bunk bed, plus a twin trundle, and 43” LED Smart TV & Xbox S. Find extra pillows, blankets, a Pack N Play, white noise machine and baby monitor in the closet for your baby/toddler needs.

The Bunk Room includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower & tub. Down the hall in the Primary Bedroom, escape to a private space with a queen bed, 55” LED Smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with full shower. This bedroom has direct access to the large upper deck with sweeping views of the Lookout resort, Chelan hills, and a peekaboo view of the lake. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the cozy lounge furniture just outside your bedroom door.

We had the best time staying in schools
Out! House was perfect setup for fam of four and they loved the private hot tub! Got a little hot upstairs during the night but will definitely be back!

This was such a beautiful vacation home and location! The house was so comfortable and stylish, yet perfect for a family. We had everything we needed and being close to the pool was a major plus for us. We will definitely come back next summer!

We loved the unit but we had 3 issues. Beds were very uncomfortable (could feel springs), coffee maker was only pods, no other coffee maker (we do not do pods), no direction on AC vs heat for how to use it and we lost AC from lack of those and had a very unpleasent night.

Our stay at schools out was so wonderful. It had all the necessary essentials traveling with kids that we didnt have to take, such as a play pen, baby monitor, sound machine. They even had a storage up front of life jackets of all sizes and blow up pool toys. House was clean and well maintained. It's a beautiful home with a lovely second story deck that we enjoyed our coffee in the early morning. And being a corner lot, we had plenty of area for kids to play and enjoy the hot tub under the stars. We'll definitely be back. Only downside was that they were doing construction right in front of the house, so the workers would wake up the kids 7am sharp. But that's not anything to do with the home itself. Just a timing of our stay.

This was our first time staying at Chelan Lookout and we were so impressed with the amenities. The house was beautiful and meticulously clean. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was a plus especially with terrible weather. It would be great to add blinds to the rooms.

This is a great house for one family. It was very clean in all areas of the house. It had a lot of the necessities you would need for a trip in the kitchen. There are no blinds so if you have littles, you might want to bring travel blinds or something because it gets light really early. The bedding and pillows could use a refresh as they were not comfortable in either of the beds. If you are local, I would just bring your own. Overall a cute house, with a great location to the pool and shuttle to take you around the property. Great amenities at the Lookout!

We stayed here for my wife’s Birthday and our wedding anniversary. The house was a perfect little getaway. Nice and cozy to spend time with friends and family. Also really loved the fact they have transportation down to the docks.

We (only 2 of us) enjoyed our stay greatly at School's Out. It's tucked away at the end of the road and provides a quick walk to the Vineyard Pool where you can also be picked up to be taken down to the beach. It's also within walking distance to Vin Du Lac. The home was great all around. Definitely would recommend it! (only caveat is that the pictures are old and you don't get as much of a view of the lake anymore due to new homes put up - but not a deal breaker at all - still a lovely home!)
