I was lucky enough to find this place at the last minute and booked 2 nights. This place exceeded my expectations. First of all impeccable. This place was put together with the customer in mind. From the furniture, hot tub, fireplace,bathroom and ammenities. It is a huge house but still managed to feel cozy and luxurious!! We will definitely be coming back!

Reviewed on 2019-08-10 by , Snoqualmie, WA United StatesAt first glance in person the house doesn’t look that big but once inside it feels spacious and accommodating. It doesn’t have a garage though. It’s brand new so it’s very clean. The bedding is sooo comfortable and CLEAN! The owner did a great job! The style of decor is very up to date and tasteful. Every room has a TV with the latest and the greatest shows (I caught up on some shows!). Even kids’ room has one with kids’ shows ready to go. The kitchen was accommodating to our needs (even had a slow cooker! Keurig but no regular coffee maker) except one tiny thing. We were provided only 4 dishwasher pods (!) and when I called the front office they said we have to buy our own. So, we had to run to the store late in the evening so the dirty dishes don’t sit there all night. Maybe add that to “what to bring” in the description for the house or the owner could just provide extras. After praying over 5K for one week of rent I shouldn’t be bringing my own dishwasher soap. LOL! Otherwise the house was super! There is a brand new pool right next to the house but it was still closed while we were there. But it’s nice that the house isn’t that far from it. Shuttle no longer picks you up from the house so it’s a bit of a hike from this house to drag all the stuff with you to the “shuttle stop” if you want to go to the lake. See map.
Fun mid-summer get-away

It was a beautiful appointed and well-stocked house and the Lookout provided many great amenities. The house was so wonderful and the hosts thought of everything which and made our stay the best.

Welcome to Independence at Lake Chelan Lookout! Located on Vineyard Park close to both swimming pools, Independence features a wraparound porch with chairs and padded couches, and a secluded patio with outdoor dining and lounging. The home features a private hot tub with Bluetooth sound, dual hotel-grade gas heaters on the deck, a Traeger® Pro Series grill, Adirondack chairs, and a private gas fire-pit for roasting s’mores or keeping warm.
Inside you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen with Keurig and Nespresso machines, GE Profile appliances, and an industrial-grade ice maker to keep your coolers and boat stocked throughout your stay. For holidays and special events, baking essentials, roasting pans, steak & chefs’ knives are ready to meet your needs.
The modern kitchen features an expandable dining table which seats eight, and there is seating for three more at the bar. The living room features a gas fireplace and a 55” smart TV. Plenty of room to relax on the L-shaped couch, wingback chairs, and cushioned window seats which all boast views of Vineyard Park.
The 1st floor master bedroom overlooks Vineyard Park, has a 5-piece en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and dual shower-heads. The king size memory foam mattress and hypoallergenic pillows make for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Upstairs features two queen bedrooms, each with an en-suite 4-piece bath. The 4th bedroom is a bunk-room with two sets of twin bunk beds and a memory foam pullout couch. Also included is a full-size crib with a hypoallergenic mattress and pack ‘n play for the little ones. Hair dryers are included in all bathrooms, including the master bath.
There are smart TVs in the living room and in each of the 4 bedrooms. Each TV is loaded with plenty of streaming services to use: YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney+, HBO, and Amazon Prime Video. Complimentary high-speed wireless internet allows streaming from anywhere, including your personal devices.
Take advantage of all the amenities The Lookout has to offer including outdoor and indoor swimming pools, parks, playgrounds, pickle-ball, basketball, and bocce ball courts, lakefront access, a marina, and more. Independence does not allow pets.
