The Pour House #127 [1]
Staying in the Pour House
Reviewed on 2022-09-25 by Janice O. , Tacoma, WA United StatesIt was a very nice house. The kitchen was like walking into my own home..appliances were identical. The view of the lake was great as there was no houses to block the view..the park made that possible.

Pour House = Perfection
Reviewed on 2022-08-28 by , Delaware, OH United StatesThe Pour House was absolutely perfect. From the minute that we walked in, we felt at home. The house was spotless and they thought of everything we could possibly need. We are still dreaming of the view from the porch (sipping on wine from the nearby Vin du Lac Winery) and remembering the laughs had by our kiddos in the hot tub. The Lookout itself has amazing amenities which we enjoyed as well (pools, beach, marina, kids activities, etc.) Thank you to both the hosts and the property management team for making our stay one of our best vacations yet!

Wonderful house with all of the amenities
Reviewed on 2022-06-01 by Kim D. , SEATTLE, WA United StatesWe enjoyed our stay at the Pour House. The host supplied with us with a plethora of equipment and utensils to use. The deck had an awesome view, but was somewhat obstructed by the new construction. I would definitely change the front picture of the house. The pools were within walking distance and the beach walk was really nice. The house was clean, and the check in/out instructions were clear. The hot tub was clean and I could see they were sending people every few days to check on the maintenance of the tub. The neighborhood was safe and I enjoyed my walks/run around the neighborhood. There were no noise disruptions or all of the guests respected quiet time.

Welcoming, well-thought out home
Reviewed on 2021-09-28 by , Olympia , WA United StatesThe living room area is small, but the couch is comfortable.
We appreciated the way the owners thought of ways to make things comfortable for guests: hooks for coats in the hallway; cozy blankets in the living room; plenty of fluffy towels in the bathrooms, as well as bathrobe hooks, a small lamp AND a good sized closet with shelves. The kids’ room with desk; the heaters on the deck. <br/>The living room area is small, but the couch is comfortable.

Chill in Chelan
Reviewed on 2021-09-22 by Monica L. , Seattle, WA United StatesThe whole weekend was wonderful. The drive to Chelan from Seattle was nice and easy. The lookout resort is well appointed. Multiple pools and an attached marina. Could not have been easier.

The Pour House is pet-free, smoke-free house located on the eastern side of the Lookout, overlooking the Lake Chelan, the City of Chelan, Vin du Lac Vineyard and Chelan Butte. Sit on the balcony with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise, casting shadows over the Central Washington terrain as it slowly makes its way over the valley. Perhaps you will be greeted by a deer or two, see a Kestrel pass by, or spot a quail family looking for breakfast. In the evening, as the sun sets, enjoy the cool Central Washington breeze as it blows through The Pour House vineyard. If it’s too chilly you can light a fire in the gas fire pit to stay warm as you sip on your favorite Chelan wine or hot beverage.
The area offers a number of activities. Some of our favorites include walking 1.5 miles into town, visiting the local wineries, swimming at the pools and lake, renting a boat for the day and of course, relaxing at The Pour House!
Upper Level:
Three parking spaces are available on Bobcat, the upper level of the house.
As you enter this main floor of the house, you will be instantly drawn to the views of Lake Chelan through the Nana Wall that lines the entire wall of the living room.
This open concept entertaining area includes a fully stocked kitchen, including 8-bottle wine fridge, dining table with seating for eight, living room with full sized couch, ottoman and accent chair, and 4 bar stools available at the large kitchen island. Appliances are located in the pantry. There is a 65-inch TV with DVD player and extra HDMI cable, for your gaming devices.
The master offers a king-sized bed, room darkening shades will allow guests the option of sleeping in late or a sneaking in a midday nap. A 55-inch TV with cable and extra HDMI cord is available for use in the master as well. You’ll have your own access to the upper deck through the French Doors. The bathroom includes two sinks and full-sized shower. A full-length mirror can be found in the closet, along with an iron and ironing board. USB chargers are located on the alarm clock.
Along with a guest bathroom, there is a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. If needed, there are cleaning supplies and a mop/broom located in this room as well. Towel/coat hooks are available in the hallway and laundry room. Hooks can also be found on the lower level entry and outside the entrances of the upper and lower level of the house.
Lower Level:
Take the stairs down to the lower level where you’ll find the lower entrance, bunk room and 2nd bedroom. The bunk room contains two bunk beds, which sleep four comfortably, each with their own outlets for endless device charging. There are games, books, puzzles and some Lego to keep the kiddos busy. Room darkening shades will help with naptime. There is a desk, dresser and extra chair also located in this room.
The second bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed, 55-inch TV, HDMI for gaming devices, alarm clock with USB charging outlets and dresser.
There is full bath with tub and shower located on the lower level as well. The mechanical room has some beach supplies and a cooler for guests to use.
The upper-level vineyard patio:
At the end of the day, relax under the string lights in one of the Adirondack chairs, there are stools if you want to belly up to the wine barrel. Watch the lake sparkle as the sun sets. A Weber BBQ is available for grilling.
The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals at 509.888.7677 with any questions or concerns.
