We LOVED our stay at On a Whim! It was the perfect spot for 10 ladies to celebrate a milestone birthday. The house was clean, spacious and well appointed. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, meals, games and chats! Excellent customer service from the manager. We would highly recommend On a Whim and look forward to coming back. The location and view were both amazing and we enjoyed all the amenities that the Lookout offers.

Great house with great views. We would have loved to have more toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwashing tabs. Especially for the price of the house we shouldn’t have to worry about those things while on vacation. The sheet on the master bedroom bed also did not fit and would slide off every night. Other than those things it was a great house with plenty of room!

Many things didn't work. Missing items. Many rules that we followed but not enforced on others so parking was impossible. Beautiful spot. No privacy on decks and noise from neighbors was extreme.

We enjoyed our stay and had a very nice time . The home location was perfect. The house had everything we needed and was in great condition . We loved all the light from the big windows. Had fun sitting on the deck all bundled up and watched the Holiday Fireworks display they had in town . Only downside for us was the Master Bed. We did not even sleep in the master due to the bed being so uncomfortable. It is a foam mattress and that was the one downside to our visit . We would like to return to the house but not sure due to the one bed . Other beds were fine. Couches were very comfortable and loved the fireplace.

This house was really fantastic! It had great space and very clean. Location was amazing, loved the outdoor deck even though we didn't really get to use it because of the weather. The unobstructed view of the lake was wonderful! Plenty of bedrooms and baths for our group of 7 ladies. Plus w nice size livingroom areas, one upstairs and one down. I would rent here again!

This house has an amazing view. It's one of only a handful of houses on the bluff with unobstructed 180 degree views of the lake. Simply amazing. The house is also nice - clean and well furnished. The umbrella for the outdoor dining table was there when we stayed in June, but gone in August. That was nice to have for meals outside. Unfortunately, the dishwasher broke on the second day of a 10 day stay. With a family of four, that was really difficult. They did bring us a tiny counter top one, but it was very hard to do our dishes. Gnats were also a huge problem. We could open the door (or the nana wall) at all because too many gnats would come in. I put out apple cider vinegar, and it had a 1/2 inch of dead gnats by the time we left. But that's an issue with Chelan in general in August. The house and view are overall fantastic though.

We had a wonderful stay at On a Whim. This rental home is the perfect combination of class and cozy. Everything is quality: from the living room furniture, the beautiful dining room table right through to the beds and bedding: all very high quality. Two living areas: one where the kids could watch TV and play board games and the main level living area with that beautiful mesmerizing view. The outdoor living is exceptional. We also loved the marina area and made use of their jet ski rental: very simple and straight forward process. We loved the neighborhood's walkability and loved walking to the Bistro for dinner and to the coffeeshop at the pool. We made use of the pools and hot tub and it was very pleasant and family oriented. There was a firepit with tools for Smores. The developers thought of everything! One of our best vacations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and the Lookout. A couple of issues at the house that we would like the owner to be aware of: the heating/cooling system did now work properly. We froze at night upstairs (blowing cold air) and one night I had to sleep on the main floor. We reported the issue and it was looked at but we were told they needed to reach the owners to fix the problem. The main floor never cooled down. The downstairs was very cool too. The Net control adjustments were temporary. We did not try to heat it up using the ductless system. A new coffee maker is needed. The home lacked large serving trays, basic utensils, and dishes (bowls).

This home was professionally decorated by Thomasville of Bellevue, down to the pillows and bed linens.  The main floor has wide plank hardwood floors, a fully stocked custom kitchen, including a stainless farmhouse sink, Caesar stone countertops, a gas range, a large island with 2 bar stools, and a soapstone dining table that seats 8.  The large open living room boasts an oversize sectional, 2 leather club chairs, a coffee table, a stocked bookcase, a cozy gas fireplace, and a separate reading area.  Open the 15’ Glass Nana Wall to bring the expansive 20’ x 24’ outdoor deck into the living space.  This is amazing!   The large deck features a dining table that seats 8, a large sectional, and two lounge chairs to soak in the 300 days of sun!
 
The top level of the home features a large master bedroom with a 10’ x 24’ outdoor deck complete with a private 2-seat bistro table and 2 lounge chairs to escape the kids or company. The bedroom boasts a king bed, side tables, and large dresser drawers, wall mounted Samsung Smart TV.  The master bath has a large walk-in shower, a large walk-in closet, and double vanity. Two more queen bed bedrooms complete with their own wall-mounted Samsung Smart TVs and large closets.  The 2 queen bedrooms share an upstairs bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
 
The bottom floor is the perfect place for kids or the perfect spot to host a party on game day.  A Large wall-mounted 65” Smart TV with Blue Ray. A massive sectional hides a secret king sleeper just in case you can’t make it back upstairs!  There is also a game table with 4 chairs and lots of space to drop some pillows on the plush carpet and watch a movie.  The bottom floor bedroom has 4 sturdy built-in bunks each complete with a custom reading light and built-in drawers, a large closet, and plenty of play space.  This bedroom is also equipped with a 65" TV with Xbox. The Bunk Room has a double vanity bathroom with a tub/shower combo.  Lower-level laundry complete with iron board, cleaning supplies, etc.

We have tried to make your vacation stay with “On A Whim…” as comfortable as possible.  Additional amenities include; beach towels, various beach toys, 2 cruiser bikes, and complimentary 100Mbps high-speed wireless. We hope these amenities add to the enjoyment of your time at On A Whim!
